The wounds of a friend are better than the kisses of an enemy

I just got off a call with a friend who has been wanting to start a business for 5 years.  He calls me all the time sharing new ideas that he has and asks my advice since I help entrepreneurs build and fund businesses.   After 5 years of encouraging him and being really nice I gave him some tough love… (The wounds of a friend are better than the kisses of an enemy – Solomon)…. I said the following in a loving, coach like, brutal way…

You have a value to offer this world because of the major life obstacles you have overcome with drugs, depression, poverty, and horrific family issues… You have climbed out of a horrible pit of fire and survived and now you hold the key… What the hell are you doing with that?  If you have the power to do something good, the desire to do something good, and you don’t do it because you are scared… then you are withholding the answer from people who really need help because you are afraid… makes your experiences and value in this situation WORTHLESS!

You have a valuable Key to solve a major problem for people and you can make money in exchange for helping people.

Because I know and love him like a brother and he trusts me, I challenged him.

I then put on my kind brother hat and encouraged him to learn how to Copy Genius Rather Than Create Mediocrity as he is working on sharing this value with the world.

If you don’t know how to sell your value, here is an incredible FREE training program that I am going through right now.

I was invited to join their 100 day training program to learn about some of my favorite topics like:

  • Personal Value Proposition – Who the heck am I and what value can I offer the world?
  • Ideal Client – Who understands me, values my work, and will pay for it?
  • The Offer – What should I offer, how should I present it, and how much should I charge for it?

So far this training has the some of the best content on sales and marketing I have seen and its free so I wanted to share it with you.

I am going through it right now, so if you want to join me click here
